The strategic focus of our Programme is on enterprise development as a key
strategy that enhances growth opportunities for, and participation by communities in nation building.
The projects seek to create identifiable self-employment opportunities for the youths, women, PWDS and other vulnerable groups through entrepreneurial support. We
provide technical support that includes
proposal writing, lobbying with government agencies and capacity building trainings among other support to community owned groups. The programme provides
mentorship opportunities to enable women, youth and PWDs groups take advantage of the 30% government procurement preference through Capacity Building Programme and advocacy.
Specifically, the programme undertakes the following activities:
Mobilize youths, women and PWDs to form groups and sensitize them on business and investment opportunities available
Provide technical support to enable these groups’ access finances, promote their innovations,
businesses and enterprises and thus enhancing their economic wellbeing.
Provide business development support services to groups keen on starting or
expanding existing
businesses.
The economic empowerment Programme have been an avenue for incubating
enterprises, catalyzing innovation, promoting industry and creating employment for communities.
